Created in 1968 by Jimmy Rogers to provide opportunities for young Black people to play Basketball. Emerging into Local Merseyside leagues, Toxteth Tigers made a big impact and are now in the regional and national competitions. In 1991 the club was reconstituted to incorporate its wider aims in its constitution, and also changed its name to 'Toxteth Tigers Basketball Programme' in order to portray positive images of the area of Liverpool.

BDI Media have worked closely with Toxteth Tigers for the last 3 years. We manage all IT Projects for the organisation and we are now in the development for their new website which will be available within the next few weeks. Other areas of support we carry out for the Tigers are:

  • Computer Support
  • Network support for their Wi-Fi Network
  • Computer training to members

Alex Corina - Contemporary artist. Born in 1950 Alex Corina studied at the Regional College of Art in Bradford before moving to Liverpool 20 years ago. Alex is best known for his picture 'The Mona Lennon', which represents Liverpool's Past, Present and Future but also symbolises its aspirations. This image hung 80ft in height outside St. George's Hall to celebrate the City of Liverpool 'City of Culture 2008' award. His work aims to capture the spirit and humour of the City in the run up to the Capital of Culture 2008.

BDI Media have supported Alex in many of his campaigns within the City. His website is a collection of Artist's who display their work in a very humorous and unique way, covering many topics and icons from the City. The website also has a facility to buy any of the art directly on line. BDI Media keep this website updated on a regular basis and we are adding new 'art' to the site on a monthly basis.
