"We know there is more to a website than just the design process."

BDI Media have a fluency of areas we excel in and are competent in designing and delivering our projects on time. However, we believe that the greatest skill is listening to our clients ideas and taking them through the transition to the final stage - the website launch. We challenge and question ideas and suggest possibilities without getting into the 'Jargon' chit-chat. Because we are friendly and have an easy approach we work together with our client and always suprise with our end result.

"BDI Media are compassionate about web design"

Like most things in today's world things change and never stay still for too long. BDI Media are forever evolving and re-inventing itself, this applies to our websites and we have to "think forward" when we design to give your website at least a 3 year life span. Its very much like an iceberg: much of its coding application you never see. We prepare code for search engine "friendliness", add Google sitemaps, robots text files, submit the site to search engines, the list goes on but all are included in the price.

"Build it and they will come......."

As quoted from the Chief Executive of the Millennium Dome!............how wrong!
We have to deliver! Success and Failure is a thin line, that's why we always push ourselves to the limit and thanks to "Alta Rica" Coffee and late night music we often work till early hours until we achieve our targets. We discuss the project during the process and most importantly after the process. We don't walk away after the project has been completed, we keep an eye on your target audience and make adjustments if needed.

Urban design theory deals primarily with the design and management of public space (i.e. the 'public environment', 'public realm' or 'public domain'), and the way public places are experienced and used.

Urban design is the process of shaping the physical setting for life in cities, towns and villages. It is the art of making places. It involves the design of buildings, groups of buildings, spaces and landscapes, and establishing the processes that make successful development possible.

Urban design concerns the arrangement, appearance and functionality of towns and cities, and in particular the shaping and uses of urban public space. It has traditionally been regarded as a disciplinary subset of urban planning, landscape architecture, or architecture. However, with its increasing prominence in the activities of these disciplines, it is better conceptualised as a design practice that operates at the intersection of all three, and requires a good understanding of a range of others besides, such as urban economics, political economy and social theory.

Urban Design

Public space includes the totality of spaces used freely on a day-to-day basis by the general public, such as streets, plazas, parks and public infrastructure.
BDI Media have been fascinated for a long time now, regarding the breaking speed of Industrial and Town development. We got out of bed one morning and there it was! Lots of shiny new Blue Buildings.

Some aspects of privately owned spaces, such as building facades or domestic gardens, also contribute to public space and are therefore also considered by Urban design theory.

BDI Media will be following the 'development' over the next few months and will capture the mood in a photographic journal. We will experiment and blend in some of the 'Urban Design' into our web design projects.

If it doesn't work then at least we can say 'we had a go'.............

Although we dont think that would be good mitigation in a bankrupcy court!

For the record.
