In the past year wireless networking has seen an immense growth in popularity. Formerly the domain of early adopters, it is now widely available to everyone - in fact it is now becoming difficult to buy a laptop without a wireless connection.
Spurred on by the availability of Intel Centrino notebooks and Apple's Airport technology - along with other affordable hardware - Coffee shops, restaurants and train companies are all jumping on the Wi-Fi bandwagon and introducing wireless hotspots to entice customers to spend more cash.
So if you can get a wireless connection whilst sipping a latté or travelling at 125km an hour, whats to stop you benefitting from the same technology at home?
